Anne Jones Receives 2024 University of Washington Tacoma Women’s Leadership Award

Anne Jones, founder of Windermere Abode, has been honored with the prestigious 2024 University of Washington Tacoma Women’s Leadership Award from the Milgard School of Business. This award recognizes her exceptional leadership, community service, and unwavering commitment to social responsibility. As the founder of Windermere Abode, she has developed a real estate brokerage with an integrated a deep sense of community and social responsibility into the company’s core values, blending business success with positive community impact. Anne was recognized at a dinner on May 11th alongside other accomplished business leaders such as Clint Stein, CEO of Umpqua Bank. Read more about each of the recipients here.

Under Anne’s leadership, Windermere Abode has supported various initiatives, including the Sam Smith fund, which a portion of each home sold by the brokerage applies a percentage to the fund, which offers down payment assistance to homebuyers who might be excluded from traditional programs. She was also recognized for her work with Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity and support of local businesses & organizations.
