The south facing flat & generous sized backyard, is a perfect place to take in your morning cup of coffee. It also provides ample natural light all day long. “I will miss the wonderful and friendly neighbors on all sides of our house. The back of the house faces the south so it gets morning and afternoon natural light even on our gray PNW days. I will miss our huge unfinished garage with lots of built-in shelves and a workbench. I will also miss our large backyard with the many varieties of birds, squirrels, trees, flowers, and eating delicious raspberries from the three raspberry bushes. Because of our quiet peaceful neighborhood, it is very relaxing to sit outside on our swing and read a book or check emails. I am grateful for the many wonderful and happy memories made while raising our children in this home and then later with our visiting grandchildren.”

“We’ve enjoyed the yard because, there are beautiful rhododendrons; rose, lavender, scotch broom, and snowball bushes; daylilies, strawberry plants, and bamboo; ornamental cherry, cedar, birch, and pink blossom dogwood trees.”

“This house is located in a very central location, with close proximity to the post office, gas stations, grocery stores, a variety of restaurants, and the elementary school is walking distance. Our family has enjoyed many walks and bike rides on the Soos Creek, Green River, and Interurban Trails. SEA Airport is a 15-20 minute drive away without having to go on the freeway. There is also easy access to both Highway 167 and I-5 Freeway.”

“When dining out nearby, we like Red Robin, Azteca, and Applebee’s are among my favorite restaurants to eat at; however, one of my most favorite dinners is Kung Pao Chicken from Bucks Teriyaki and Wok.”

Get outdoors at the Soos Creek Trail - 7 miles of a paved trail that winds through wetlands and farms. There’s also 9 miles of a more rugged trail to explore. Soos Creek Botanical Garden and Heritage Center is open to the public, pairing the experience of strolling amid inspirational, mature gardens with the fascinating local history of the Soos Creek Plateau.

Kent Station, an open air urban village with restaurants, movie theaters, shopping is a 10-minute drive away. The Sounder commuter train also has a stop there. (For longer trips you’ll find that SeaTac Airport is also just 20 minutes away!)
