Cruise Some Holiday Lights

Small Biz BINGO is underway and the holidays are upon us! Cruise some holiday lights and check off a square. Check out some of the holiday light events in Pierce County. Enjoy the beautiful and bright lights as and be sure to mark this square off on your Bingo card and tag us when you get a BINGO!

Take a visit to Spanaway Park to experience the largest holiday drive-through display in the Northwest! Fantasy Lights has nearly 300 elaborate displays, digital animations, and thousands of sparkling lights in a two-mile drive along Spanaway Lake. Take a nice drive and see these amazing holiday lights while listening to some holiday music on the radio.

Take a stroll through magical lights, festive displays, and holiday joy at Holiday Magic. The Washington State Fair holds this magical holiday experience with lights and displays as well as festive food, drinks, and fun. Walk through the Light Extravaganza tunnel and mark off the square on your BINGO card. While you’re there, enjoy holiday experiences such as Ice Skating, free rides on Santa’s Express Train and Sugar Plum Merry-Go-Round, The Yet Bar & Fire Pit (21+), the laser light show Arctic Adventure, the All I Want For Christmas Market, Winter Fun with miniature golf and corn hole, and more. If you visit the All I Want For Christmas Market you can also fill in the ‘Visit a Holiday Market’ square on your Small Biz BINGO card! Tickets can be bought online or onsite.

Visit this 35-year holiday tradition at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium’s Zoolights. Zoolights transforms the zoo into a colorful winter wonderland with over 800,000 LED lights with displays such as the giant pacific octopus, flame tree, the Narrows Bridges, and more. Walk through the tunnels of lights, roast s’mores, and visit their magnificent herd of goats in their festive holiday coats. Tickets can be bought online only.

Listen to some favorite holiday songs led by classical singer, Teresa Lin at W.W Seymour Conservatory’s Cocoa and Carols. This event will be held mainly outside, with chances to warm up and explore the winter flower exhibit in the conservatory.

Enjoy the Lakewold Garden’s Winter Solstice Lights featuring an array of immersive lighting, data-driven music, and live instrumentation. Artist Samuel Stubblefield uses the Lakewold Gardens as his canvas of Mother Nature’s shifting patterns reflected through color, light, and music. Environmental data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration as well as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration will be heard throughout the gardens as data music. Marvel at the beautiful interplay of light, sound, and Mother Nature with featured guests such as Calder Failla, Rosemary Ponnekanti, Kacey Evans, and Rona Yellow Robe.
