Wright Park is ideal for a leisurely stroll or a quick jog, and is very popular all year round. The Conservatory is now open by appointment, and is a beautiful respite from the city.

The city is currently working on an expansion plan for the Tacoma Light Rail, with construction finalizing in 2022. This project will more than double the current length of the 1.6 mile line ending at the Tacoma Dome Station and will reach new destinations like the Old City Hall, the Stadium District, Wright Park and the Hilltop communities.
