Get out and about at Powderworks Park - the largest and most centrally located park and named after the explosives factory that closed in the 1970s. It offers 24 acres uniquely weaving through groves of Garry Oak woodlands. The park also features a baseball diamond, soccer field, large covered pavilion, two playgrounds and an off-leash dog park. The pavilion and fields are each available to be rented for private events.
