In this episode, the Knicely Group heads to the Rebuilding Hope Pierce County Sexual Assault Center to present Windermere Abode’s ‘Windermere Foundation’ check. The Rebuilding Hope Sexual Assault Center serves victims of sexual assault and abuse. Next, the Abode crew heads out to Step by Step, a local non profit, to participate in Windermere’s Community Service day. Step By Step serves at-risk, pregnant mothers across Pierce County, providing services such as clothing, education, and job skill building via work programs on site.
Windermere Community Service Day takes place once a year, and the office shuts down to go out in the community to work. At Abode, however, this is in addition to the rest of the year, as the office and Abode brokers are committed to doing community work throughout the year in their own communities.
The Windermere Foundation is a program Windermere offices participate in, donating a portion of the proceeds of each agent’s commission to support a foundation or non-profit of the office’s choice, the following year.
