FROM THE SELLER
A little from the sellers about the location, and what they’ll miss about the neighborhood -
“We’ll miss the amazing warmth from the back deck. It really makes it possible to enjoy being outside in all seasons as it tends to be 10 degrees warmer than the surrounding yard. The yard is very quiet and private and the garden has so many perennials that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. The living room and kitchen are very spacious and provide plenty of room for entertaining. The flow of the house works well and allows people to gather without feeling crowded. The kitchen is a perfect blend of functionality and retro quirkiness. It has more storage than I know what to do with. The keypad entry on the garage and back door make coming and going seemless and easy. The basement affords so much storage space and high clearance to exercise. The basement access makes transporting bikes or other equipment very easy. The location is great as it is a quick walk to Proctor, Farmer’s Market, schools, and library.”
“We love the easy walking distance to Proctor, Metropolitan Market, Kandle Park, Puget Park. Quick bike or car ride to Point Defiance. The neighborhood is very walkable.”
When dining out we enjoy Viva’s veggie lasagna, Europa Bistro’s Penne Rustica, and Olympia Coffee’s lattes.”
“The Garden is very mature and we have added countless plants over the years so that they would bloom in succession. Elizabeth Magnolias planted on the South side of the house in 2017. All South facing plants are drought tolerant. There is a sprinkler system for garden beds and grass in front/side/back yards.”
