Comfortable single-level living with a big fenced yard is just the beginning. An open kitchen and living space form the heart of the home with a fireplace and granite counters. At one end find a spacious private suite with a full bath. 3 more bedrooms, laundry and a 2nd full bath complete the home. Take life outdoors with a patio, lawn, playground and tool shed. A Tacoma address meets Steilacoom community and schools, it’s 4 minutes to the soda fountain and 5 to the beach. Don’t miss the video!

It will only take you 6 minutes to get to the beach from this home! Sunnyside Beach in Steilacoom - an ocean front park with 1,400 ft. of shoreline plus a playground, volleyball court, trails, picnic facilities and a spectacular view of the sound. On a clear, sunny day, you can catch a glimpse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. This will become your favorite summer go-to spot!

After a trip to the beach, stop at Topside Bar and Grill, a casual American restaurant for burgers, seafood & steaks, plus a roof-top deck with stunning water views and sunsets. Check out their summer beer list during happy hour!

Explore downtown Steilacoom - buy local and fresh at the Farmers Market located on the corner of LaFayette & Wilkes Street. Make an appointment for the Sea Spa for a luxury day of healing powers from the sea and ocean views, leaving you feeling rejuvenated. Get coffee, desserts and ice cream at the Berry Dock Ice Cream Shop. Find comfort food inside of the historic Bair Drug & Hardwood Store at The Bair Bistro, which also has a 1908 soda fountain. The Steilacoom Pub and Grill is the place to go to get your growlers filled up! In the summers at Pioneer Park you can enjoy the outdoors concert series - featuring everything from Jazz, latin, Motown, Big Band, Country and a little bit of Rock and Roll.

Take the scenic route along Chambers Creek Road to access Chambers Bay Park - open field with picnic tables and the Playground by the Sound - Fenced in the playground helps keep the kiddos from roaming. The equipment is nicely maintained and varied; swings, tunnels, slides and monkey bars. There’s a shaded picnic area on a concrete slab. One table is completely covered and the other is open, plus a few more tables out in the grassy areas. The bathroom is across the field, but is close.

There are also a series of short trails that are located within the Chambers Creek Canyon Trail. All trails are primitive in nature and allow people to experience a true urban forest setting. Watch for our deer and coyotes, the canyon is a part of their home. Future plans call for an extension of this nature trail system, providing improved trail heads and linked trail segments.
