Four blocks away is the Hong Kong Supermarket where you can buy whole roasted duck and pork, delicious Mooncakes – traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival, kitchen gadgets you didn’t think you needed and an assortment of sauces to make any Asian dish more authentic.

The Lincoln District was named after the historic Lincoln High School – named after Abraham Lincoln. You can’t miss the giant statue of the sixteenth President of the United States in front of the school entrance and the beautiful brick structure. Right behind the high school is Metro Parks Lincoln Park/Eldridge Playfield – a historic park established in 1889. Other Tacoma Public Schools serving this home are Lyon Elementary (which is currently being rebuilt and will open in Fall 2018) and Stewart Middle School, which just underwent an extensive restoration.
