Visit A Local Holiday Market

Holiday season has officially begun! Let’s kick off our Small Biz Bingo Challenge with one of our favorite activities, visiting a local holiday market. Below we have listed a few local holiday markets that are taking place in Pierce County during the month of December. Bundle up and bring your wish lists for a one-stop shopping experience! Be sure to mark this square off on your Bingo card and tag us when you get a BINGO!

Every 1st Sunday of the month, The Tacoma Sunday Market hosts a curated flea market inside of the Courthouse Square. Where a diverse selection of small business owners line the hallways of this historic building to sell their unique merchandise and services. Items will include everything from vintage clothing and jewelry, antiques, candles, vintage records and other customized goods. Along with their vendors, there will also be a Toy Drive to benefit the Tacoma Rescue Mission, a Day Party (from 12pm to 5pm), pictures with Santa, and a pop-up nail bar. Abode agent Destiny Daranykone will be participating in this Holiday Market. Her company, Rose and Violet Co, sells stylish customized Jibbitz for Crocs. Stop by her table and say hello!

Inside of the Pioneer Park Pavilion in Puyallup, 40+ small businesses with the Puyallup Night Market will be setting the holiday spirit with unique gifts and treats! Along with their local makers and creators, the Puyallup Night Market will also have festive drinks to sip while you shop, food trucks, and holiday photoshoots with Santa!

When: December 1st and 15th

The Pierce County Parks and Recreation Department will have holiday markets taking place in 2 locations this month. One at Frontier Park in Graham and another at Meridian Habitat Park in Puyallup. This is the perfect opportunity to find great artisanal gifts and crafts for friends and family. There will be holiday music, holiday photos, and live entertainment! After all the shopping, if you have worked up an appetite, you can stop by the Tin Hut BBQ food truck.

A magical Winter Wonderland Holiday Market will be taking place near the waterfront at Point Ruston! Included in the lineup of local small businesses is a special appearance from Elsa from the movie Frozen! She will be performing live for all of the family to enjoy. Be on the lookout for Jingles the Elf... he will be around the Holiday Market for kids to find and to win a holiday prize!

When: December 10-11, 17-18

The Holiday Magic event has arrived! Starting on December 1st (Thursdays - Sundays only) a plethora of holiday activities will fill the fairgrounds to take part in! Visit the All I want For Christmas Market at the AgriPlex and choose from 30 amazing vendors with unique creations and finds! While you’re there, grab a warm fair scone, hot specialty beverage, and take a stroll through their Christmas lights or hop aboard Santa’s express train!

When: December 1-4, 8-11, 15-18 & 20-23

Hosted by Team Mahan of Gateway Realty, this holiday market inside of Farm 12 will be filled with a spectacular line up of 58 local small business vendors! Many of the vendors are local real estate agents from around the Pierce County area, including Abodie Destiny Daranykone. She will also be in attendance with her small business, Rose and Violet Co., selling customized Jibbitz! Sip and shop with some warm hot cocoa and participate in their raffle to raise money for The Helping Hand House.

Enjoy a weekend of fun holiday shopping and great food at the Tacoma Night Market! Shop from a variety of local vendors and food trucks on Saturday and a special drag show from the Market Mamas on Sunday.
