Abode Lakewood's 2nd Annual Give For Good Drive (Part 2)

Join us AGAIN for the 2nd leg of our Give for Good Drive this year to support military soldiers and families stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) who are in need of essential family care items!

Some soldiers in the military may struggle to afford family care products or hygiene items due to factors such as low pay for enlisted personnel, the size of their families, unexpected expenses, deployments and transitions, financial challenges, limited access to resources, and special circumstances like being a single parent or dealing with health issues. While military personnel generally receive a salary and benefits, individual circumstances and challenges can vary, leading to difficulties in meeting all financial obligations. JBLM is home to many of our friends and community members, and we want to show our support by making their lives a little easier during this special time.

When it comes to family care items and hygiene products, think about items that can provide comfort and support to families and individuals. Some excellent options include:

1. Diapers (all sizes)
2. Baby wipes
3. Baby formula
4. Baby food
5. Bottles and pacifiers
6. Toiletries for adults and children (shampoo, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth wash, etc)
7. Nursing supplies
8. Hair products for all hair types
9. Adult shampoo and conditioner
10. Disposable razors
11. Dye free laundry soap
12. Blankets and swaddles
13. Bath towels

By providing these items, we hope to assist in offsetting some of the living expenses for military soldiers and families stationed at JBLM.
