Get delicious take out from the Home Made Cafe. This former church, now turned into a quaint farmhouse style restaurant offers skillets, scrambles. Omelettes and classics like biscuits and gravy, pancakes and french toast. Their lunch menu consists of sandwiches, salads, soups and specialty items like burritos.
For lunch or dinner options the Golden Grill On The Bay is a no-frill Chinese eatery on the waterfront. The views aren’t available right now, but takeout and delivery are an option so you can still enjoy hot & sour soup, sweet and sour chicken and BBQ pork buns at home. La Palapa, a cozy Mexican restaurant is offering take out only right now for their menu of tacos, enchilada, pork carnitas and more. The Dock Bar & Eatery is offering take out & free delivery. Try their banh mi, beer battered onion rings, sandwiches or salads. Or order family style items like mac n cheese and alfredo penne.
Stretch your limbs and get some fresh air along the Port Orchard Waterfront Park. The playground and other amenities are closed to the public right now, but you can still enjoy strolls along the open beach.
Other things that are closed right now, but you can enjoy again soon are the McCormick Woods Golf Course. This premier golf course features natural lakes hidden among towering firs and cedars on this 18-hole golf course.
Take your best friend to the unleashed outdoors! The Howe Farm Dog Park is the place to go to be free and run through miles of trails and roll in all the fresh grass on these 83 acres.
