3 BEDROOM HOME ON FOX ISLAND

You’re gonna love living in this peaceful community. A quiet road without through traffic means you can enjoy the serenity of the view as you sip coffee on the back deck. Home has undergone an extensive refresh over the last few years with all new kitchen, appliances, bathrooms, flooring, trim and doors! Hardi plank exterior was just painted and the roof is 4 years old so you can move in and enjoy maintenance free living. The main floor has an office and additional room that was opened up, but could easily be turned back into a bedroom. The spacious living room is full of view facing windows that bring in an abundance of light and walks out to your sunny deck. Mature and producing fruit trees all around the property!

WHAT’S NEARBY

Kopachuck State Park is beautiful throughout all the seasons we experience in the Pacific Northwest, but the best time of year is in the summer, when that cool breeze blows in from the Carr Inlet and you dig your toes into the warm sand along the beach. This 109 -acre marine and camping park has 5,600 feet of saltwater shoreline, and provides scenic views of sunsets, the Olympic Mountains and the Puget Sound.

Kopachuck aptly named “at water” by the Chinook Tribe offers 41 tent spaces, a dump site, a restroom and showers and is surrounded by Douglas Firs. During low tide, the sun warms up the sand, and warms up the water brought in by the tide. Enjoy a little swimming and kayaking here. There’s also an easy loop trail where you can wander among giant maple and cedar trees.

Other activities and features include boating, clamming, crabbing, diving (Kopachuck Underwater Park), saltwater fishing, oyster harvesting, bird watching and wildlife viewing.

Fox Island DeMolay Sandspit (Bella Bella Beach) is 3.56 acres on the northeast tip of Fox Island. The use of the Sandspit and Nature Preserve is intended to allow low impact activity with special care given to protecting vegetation and wildlife. This is a great spot for fishing, skimboarding, paddle boarding and kayaking.

Zog’s is a cool little place located on the Island that locals love. Here you’ll find local beer on tap, pizza, wine, cider, live music and more!

Just 9 miles away is Uptown Gig Harbor - Here you can find an abundance of dining and shopping like Moctezuma’s Mexican Restaurant (amazing happy hour and margaritas). It’s a great place to go for dinner before taking in a movie at the Galaxy Uptown Luxury Theater. There’s also Marshall’s, Talbots, Kohl’s, Michael’s, Ben & Jerry’s, Cutter’s Point Coffee, Panera, Safeway, Starbucks and Domo Sushi. For other grocery needs, Fred Meyer and Harbor Greens are on the other side of Olympic Drive NW. And coming soon is the new Metropolitan Market!
