If you’re looking for more miles, you can cross the Narrows Bridge and continue on into Tacoma via the Scott Pierson trail. You can also take your kayaks and drop into the water downtown at the Eddon Boat Park (which has some of the best kept public restrooms in town!) If you don’t have your own watercraft, you can rent boards and boats near Finholm market on Harborview Drive. Another great way to get on the water is booking an outing with Gig Harbor Gondola. This unique experience is fun for special occasions and is particularly fun when the sun (and the mountain!) is out.
Gig Harbor is lucky to have St Anthony’s Hospital serving the community. Part of the Franciscan health system, this location allows for local access to clinical specialties, urgent care, obstetrics and cancer care.
