Raising Girls on Tacoma's City Line

Sharon Chambers-Gordon, founder and CEO of the non profit, Raising Girls, and Lisa Barnes, Treasurer & member of the Community Relations team for Raising Girls, recently appeared on Tacoma’s TV show, City Line, to discuss their organization and the work they do to empower young people in the Pierce County area.

Raising Girls provides necessary hygiene products to young people in the Puget Sound area, with a focus of providing menstrual products to young girls in the community and being committed to ending period poverty and hygiene insecurity. Raising Girls aims to support students in every way so they can be successful every day!
