South Sound Pumpkin Patches and Fall Events

Fall is well underway, so it’s the perfect time to have some Fall fun! With Halloween coming up it’s just the right time to go to some pumpkin patches around Pierce, King, and Thurston county. Here are some of Abode’s favorite pumpkin patches and where to find them!

Knutson Farms | Sumner

Celebrate the season at Knutson Farms in Sumner! Located at 16406 78th St E, Sumner, WA 98390, visit this farm to pick at the pumpkin patch, navigate through the corn or hay maze, meet farm animals, eat kettle corn, and more. Endless opportunities for photos makes this place a family favorite, and we haven’t even mentioned the hay rides, farm games, and Cow Train! If you’re planning to go, Knutson Farms is open from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm every day except Tuesday. On Saturdays you can enjoy the farm at night! Bring your flashlights and enjoy the evening in their corn maze and other sweet treats until 9:00 pm. Tickets are sold online and on-site at the Admissions Booth.

Maris Farms | Bonney Lake

Maris Farms in Bonney Lake is open on the weekends at 25001 Sumner Buckley Hwy, Buckley, WA 98321. In the day enjoy activities such as the corn maze, Feed Mill ropes course, wagon ride, tube slides, mechanic bull, and plenty of other activities with plenty of photo opportunities. As the day ends, spend your night in their haunted woods - explore 35+ minutes of winding, terror-filled trails for everyone who dares to walk through it. Maris Farms is open Fridays - Sundays and generally open from 10:00 am - 10:00pm. Buy tickets online and check their schedule to see what’s open at what time!

Picha Farms | Puyallup

Picha Farms in Puyallup has plenty of fun fall activities. Visit them at 6502 52nd St E, Puyallup, WA 98371, and check out their 5-acre corn maze, wide-open fields of pumpkins, fall decor, and more. Picha Farms blends games into their activities for more fun! Their corn maze has the answers to eight trivia questions with the reward for answering all of them being a free mini pumpkin. Play a game of slingshot and hit your target to win $5 off your pumpkin purchase. With over 25 varieties of pumpkins to choose from, the 9-acre pumpkin patch is the perfect opportunity to search for this year’s perfect pumpkin - and it’s dog-friendly too! Open every day, with weekdays being open from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm and weekends being open from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. There’s no general admission fee but you’ll have to pay on-site for any activities that you want to participate in.

Thomasson Family Farms | Enumclaw

Thomasson Family Farms in Enumclaw offers 10 acres of pumpkins and a huge corn maze! This farm’s pumpkin patch is dog-friendly and has an activity area for you to enjoy laser tag, the corn pit, apple slingshotting, tractor rides, and more. Look at the stunning views of Mount Rainier and snack on pumpkin donuts at 38223 236th Ave SE, Enumclaw, WA 98022, and buy tickets online or at the ticket booth on-site. Thomasson Family Farms is open every day from 9:30 am - 5:30 pm.

Mosby Farms | Auburn

For people looking for somewhere in Auburn, Mosby Farms is located at 12754 SE Green Valley Road,. Auburn, WA 98092 with a pumpkin patch perfect for picking and an incredible variety of gourds to look at. Plenty of photo opportunities and fun times, open daily from 10:00 am - 5:30 pm. Garb a wheelbarrow and explore the entire field until you find the perfect pumpkin, and pet friendly too! No need to pay for general admission but their corn maze is pay to enter.

Schilter Family Farm | Olympia

Located down in Olympia off of I-5 at 141 Nisqually Cut Off Rd SE, Olympia, WA 98513, Schilter Family Farm is hosting their Fall Harvest Festival now through October 31st. Enjoy two pumpkin patches, a 5-acre corn maze, and family-friendly activities. Buy tickets online or on-site, and if you’re planning to go on the weekend you are required to purchase an admission bracelet.

Lattin’s Country Cider Mill and Farm | Olympia

Also in Olympia is Lattin’s Country Cider Mill and Farm, open seven days a week from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm at 9402 Rich Rd SE, Olympia, WA 98501. Enjoy fall treats, pumpkin picking, farm animals, and games. Among the fall treats, their most popular items are the fresh pressed cider and donuts! Wristbands for entry on their Saturday and Sunday Festival activities are paid for on-site.

Haunted Headlights | Graham

A family friendly event at Frontier Park where guests can ride through with eerie lights filled with slightly scary characters. Haunting good time for everyone! A great drive-through experience to beat the chilly evening weather. Open October 24th-28th at Frontier Park from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Visit their website for tickets!

Sunny Sky’s Animal Rescue Fright Forest | Graham

100% of the proceeds from this event will go towards helping animals in need of extra medical attention at Sunny Sky’s Animal Rescue! Walk through a haunted building and enter into the dark, spooky woods, where you will encounter a variety of scary attractions that are to thrill. Bring comfy walking shoes as there is slightly rough terrain. The event will be taking place October 17th to October 27th from 7:00 pm - 10:00pm and is recommended for ages 13+. Inaugural Tacoma Halloween Parade | Tacoma

The first Halloween Parade in Tacoma will be taking place along McKinley Way near downtown on October 19th. This parade is FREE and fun for all ages and hopefully becomes a Tacoma tradition for the season!
